This morning I started my day off with cold oatmeal. It doesn’t have the best name, or sound too appetizing, but trust me it’s a win! I guess I should start calling it overnight oats that seems to be a more appealing name.
You can either make this in small jars and have the portioned out for grab and go, or in a large bowl and portion out to serve.
All you need is:
Old fashioned oats
You favorite milk or yogurt
- Almond, Cashew, Coconut, Skim milk
- Greek, Soy, Coconut yogurt
Your favorite toppings
- Strawberries
- Blueberries
- Unsweetened shredded coconut
- Almonds
- Chia seeds
Whether you choose to use small jars, or a large bowl milk or yogurt all you need to do is make sure you have your oats fully covered. With milk pour in till the oats are covered with yogurt mix together until the oats are fully coated and wet. You can even do a bit of milk and a bit of yogurt! Let this mixture sit in the fridge over night add your favorite toppings in the morning and enjoy!
