Bruch Date Chic At Street Portsmouth

My friends invited me to join them for brunch at Street, and I literally had 10 minutes to get myself showered and ready to leave. Luckily it’s summer and I never blow dry my hair! So thanks to my Herbivore Sea Mist purchased at Slate in Martha’s Vineyard getting ready is a breeze!

I typically get told, that I always look put together, and I really take pride in my appearance and I always like to put my best self into the world. I know it’s a Virgo thing, we need everything to look nice, and we enjoy doing it. When I’m asked about my routine I always tell people to keep it simple! To me it’s all about the wardrobe pieces, if you have the right pieces in your wardrobe you can be ready for anything in a snap. Having classic pieces that fit right makes getting ready super easy.

These white jeans from Loft are a major essential in a summer wardrobe, essentially any top you pair with them is going to make a great look. They are crisp white, comfortable, and fit properly. A great go to piece!

Another thing I am mindful of is the tops that I buy. I would say I always look at blouses and tops versus tanks and t-shirts. Don’t get me wrong I basic tanks and t-shirts, and I love them, but for an easy ready in 10 minutes look I always grab a top thats hanging from my closet. I am a stickler for making sure these pieces are all comfortable materials so I know they will be worn as basic everyday shirts, not just for an occasion. ASOS is where I found this gingham top, and the little peplum just adds another layer of visual interest to this outfit.

Now these cross sandals are the icing on the cake! They slip on, they are fully neutral (key feature to matching with everything. Neutral base and neutral gem color), and will elevate any basic outfit for a more polished look. If I were to have thrown on a basic gray v-neck t-shirt I still would have felt great leaving the house because these sandals are that unique and polished. unfortunately for you all I bought these last year, so I doubt you’ll have any luck finding them now. But Lord and Taylor always has amazing sandals, and you can always find something on sale! These are 424 FIFTH.
