I am totally in love with this trend of a menswear inspired tradition coat for autumn. It has slowly been repeated through the past few years, but I feel like it’s a major must have for this upcoming season! There are so many colors, details, and price points there is one for everyones style! Let me show you my favorites!

This J. Crew Italian Stadium- Cloth Wool Cacoon Coat, is by far my absolute favorite I have seen so far. This style has been reinvented by J.crew for a few years now, and I had always liked the way they looked, but I never loved the way they looked. This year I think they finally have it down! I love that this tone of gray is so light it goes with every single color pant or dress or skirt you can possibly pair it with. I love the layout of the pockets, they have interest with two on one side and one on the other. I love the hidden zipper, and the collar. I will be very disappointed if the fit is off…heres to putting all my eggs in one basket and falling hard for this coat. It is $350, but knowing J.Crew it will be 30% off in a week, haha!

I also have a major crush on this Banana Republic Factory Basket-Weave Sweater Coat in camel; also available in heather gray. It has this grandpa sweater vibe that I can totally get behind. I love the button details, and the pockets in the front, it truly looks like a comfy sweater, but is weighted like a coat. Its $89.99 so it’s perfect for a wardrobe addition that won’t break the bank.

This Andrew Marc Roxanne Wool 2- in- 1 Car Coat from Nordstrom also has my eye. I love the Maroon/ Oxblood color way, I always love this color in autumn, and winter. This is the prefect weekend coat for the basic everyday activity of walking around your neighborhood, hitting the farmers market, shopping with friends, or apple picking on a crisp day. The sweat shirt detail has been seen before with a jean jacket layered, but with a wool style coat I have never seen before. I love how the zipper is details with the oxblood color so it ties back to the coat and all meshes well together. The best part, the sweat shirt bib can be removed so you can wear this coat casually everyday and then remove the bib layer to make it more dressed up.. genius. This is priced at $158 so it’s very reasonable for 2- in- 1, but again Nordstrom is known to have a sale now and then so you can easily snag this for less!

If you are on the bold side of things, and want to go with a printed coat, I think this Margot Plaid Coat from Anthropologie is just the one for you! I love that the pattern is bold, but that the colors are very classic. Emerald, navy, and gray are perfect together. The jewel tones of the emerald and navy make this coat a classic, and priced at $148 you can’t go wrong.

If you like the pattern style and are on the hunt for the look for less, than this Plaid Top Coat from Target is your best bet! It is only $39.99, I mean theres now way you can find something at a better price! It is from their new collection A New Day, if you haven’t checked it out yet head over to their sight and give it a glance.. I basically want everything. This coat had more of the classic blazer cut, and I love the look of the collar raised. This is very Blair Waldorf on the Met Steps if you ask me!
