Trader Joes is the place to go if you want to make this exact recipe, but there is nothing stopping you from making this same things from items found at any local grocery store. You need an unseasoned pork loin roast, and two onions.

One jar of Apple Cider Jam, if you don’t have a Trader Joe’s near you choose any apple jam, or apple butter as a replacement!

For the liquid I used this Downeast Cider, if you don’t have Downeast Cider near you its no big deal, use a can of any cider. If you would rather use a juice you can go with a basic apple cider from your grocery store!

Chop your two onions in into large chunks and place you pork loin roast on top.

Now cover your pork with the entire jar of apple jam, or apple butter, this is where all your flavor is going to come from! Also add a large pinch of salt, the jam is sweeter so the salt helps to balance the flavors!

Pour in your can of cider.

Cover and cook on low for 8 hours!

The pork will be so tender is essentially falls apart! I made green beans and potatoes to go with it, but you can choose whatever your favorite sides are.

What you need:
2 Onion
1 Pork Loin Roast
1 Jar Apple Cider Jam
1 Can Hard Cider

ENJOY!
