You need:
1/2 cup butter
12 oz chocolate chips
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 3/4 cups flour
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
24-25 large marshmallows
1 large chocolate bar
Begin by combining the butter and chocolate chips in a small sauce pan over low heat. Make sure to keep an eye on this because it can easily start to burn. Stir it pretty consistently until it is fully melted and blended together. Let this rest for about 10 minutes because you don’t want to add this to the mix if it is too hot.
While that cools, combine the brown sugar and eggs.
Once the chocolate had cooled, slowly add this to the brown sugar, and egg mixture.
Combine all dry ingredients, and slowly add this to the egg, butter, and chocolate mixture until blended to almost a cake batter consistency.
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees.
With a 1″ to 1.5″ scoop, place your dough on a lined baking sheet. Using a silicone baking mat is the preferred method.
Bake this first step for 10 minutes
While these are baking break up your chocolate bar, and cut your marshmallows in half.
Once the cookies are done, place 1 piece of chocolate on each and cover with a marshmallow half. Place back into the oven for 4 minutes, let cool for about 2 minutes, and sprinkle with chocolate shavings.
