EGG NOG COOKIES

You Need:

1 c. softened butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. eggnog
1 egg beaten
3 and 3/4 c. flour
1 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. nutmeg or cinnamon

Frosting:
1 and 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/4-1/2 c. eggnog (to spreading consistency
1 tsp. light Karo Syrup

Mix together butter and sugar until creamed
Add in egg nog and eggs
Add in dry ingredients and mix well
Chill for one hour
Drop 1″ to 1.5″ rounds on a lined baking sheet
Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes
When the cookies are done and out of the oven, use the bottom of a greased cup to flatten the cookies down.
Place on a a cooling rack
Once the cookies are completely cooled you can now frost them, and sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon, I used cinnamon on mine.
