On our first day to London we went to this amazing organic farm store, market, and restaurant Daylesford, in Notting Hill. They have multiple locations throughout London, and a fully organic family owned farm.
They have everything from fresh breads and spreads, to meats, and dairy, and baked goods. You can stop in to do your grocery shopping, find an amazing gift or have breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Their shop is full of home decor pieces, and dish ware that are simple, useful, and unique. They have linen table clothes, and aprons, as well as cook books, and candles, and their own line of hand soaps and lotions.
London is huge on conserving, and everyone brings a shopping bag with them to all of the stores they visit. They had a great collection of bags to choose from. If you do not have your own bag you are charged for plastic even at a grocery store.
There menus is very interesting and set up with the choice of ordering between 3 or 4 items. Each day there are fresh salads and specials on the chalk board that you can choose from as well. The ordering process is so simple, choose a protein, and then 2 or 3 additional salads to go with it. I had the poached salmon, another popular menu option in London, with two side salads. Sadly I don’t have a picture of it because I was so hungry I hate it all before realizing! I do have it on my instagram highlights under London 1 if you want to check it out.
You can head to their website to learn more about their mission and their farming process, and see all of their delicious food options, and find recipes for the last four images above, these were taken from their website.
